Mai TOYAMA
Saxophonist & Photographer — passionate about coffee and cultural intersections.

Born in Osaka, Japan, with Korean roots, she has been based in France since 2010.
She studied classical music, improvisation, chamber music, and music education at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and CEFEDEM of Normandy, where she earned the French State Diploma (DE).

She performs across Europe in contexts combining contemporary music, improvisation, and visual arts.

Since 2018, she has developed a photographic practice.
Between France, Japan, and Korea, her work quietly explores memory, place, and resonance.
